This game was developed by Lawrence E. Shapiro, Ph.D., an internationally recognized expert on emotional intelligence in children. The game teaches players four different techniques to confront and overcome their fears and worries. The four card types include: Face Your Fears, Understanding Yourself, Relaxation, and Change Your Thoughts. This game is not intended as a replacement for therapy with a trained counselor, although it may be very helpful as an adjunct to therapy.
